CAVE-LINK

During and even more so after a rescue(exercise) a printed record of messages can be very beneficial to check which station (if more than 2 are connected) sent what message at what time.

A written protocol simplifies decisions substantially without re-asking if e.g. 200 or 300 meter rope were required.

CaveLink stores the last 99 messages sent and received but it needs some experience to quickly find the correct mesage.

A journal printer at the command center provides easy access for all involved persons to the message records.
